Today was also the feast of the Deposition of the Zone (sash) of the Most Holy Theotokos.It is the only relic we have of the Theotokos' earthly life.A part of it is kept at the Holy Monastery of Vatopaidi,Mount Athos,Greece.Members of the Russian expatriot community in Cyprus attend this parish.
