Princesa Leonor de Asturias received an important military decoration,the Medal of Aragon,originally bestowed on Spanish knights as instituted by King James II of Aragon in the 14th century.The medal has religious significance as well.Princesa Leonor will be the first regnant Queen of Spain since Isabella II in the 19th century,and only the second regnant queen in Spanish history.She has her own beautiful blue flag and a coat of arms.Her surname is Borbon y Ortiz.After receiving the medal,she mingled with the crowd under the watchful eyes of security.
