H ΕΟΡΤΗ ΤΟΥ ΕΝ ΟΥΡΑΝΩ ΦΑΝΕΝΤΟΣ ΣΤΑΥΡΟΥ 2021 - Feast of the Appearance of the Cross in the Heavens 2021 - His Eminence Archbishop Theodosios (Hana) of Sevastia - Jerusalem Patriarchate - This feast commemorates an apparition of the Holy Cross seen in the sky over Jerusalem in 351 AD.The service was held at the Edicule (Golgotha) within the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.At the end of the service is a procession around the Edicule and the reading of a letter from the fourth century Archbishop of Jerusalem,Kyrillos,to the Roman Emperor Constantius II describing the apparition as being more radiant than the sun.
