Cathedral Church of the Holy Protection,Edessa,Greece*The Holy Metropolis of Edessa,Pella and Almopia is one of the New Lands of Greece in Central Makedonia,Northern Greece,belonging to the Ecumenical Patriarchate,but,for practical reasons,is administered by the Church of Greece.Still,there is a spiritual tie to the Ecumenical Patriarchate.*Presiding at the Service is guest hierarch Metropolitan Ioustinos of Nea Krini and Kalamaria,who is seated across from the ruling hierarch,Metropoltan Joel of Edessa,Pella and Almopia.Metropolitan Joel is ailing,but doing as best he can.
