Members of the Russian expatriot community in Cyprus attend this parish.St.Kyriakos was born and raised in Corinth,Greece.At the age of 17,he was inspired to set sail for Jerusalem,and spent the rest of his life in Palestine.Eventually he was ordained priest and served in various monasteries in Palestine.At one point,he spent 10 years in silence in the cave of Chariton.He had the gift of healing and was also a visionary,seeing the Most Holy Theotokos,who encouraged him in his struggle against the Origenist heresy.He died in his beloved cave at the age of 109.

20 SEPT 2024 HM King Charles III visited the home of the British Submarine Service on Thursday.His Majesty received a Royal Salute before being greeted by senior officials of the Royal Navy.The King met with submariners and their families at Coulport and thanked them for their service.He also visited a Vanguard-class Ballistic Missile Submarine,of the UK nuclear deterrent force.It is armed with 8 Trident II D5 missiles and has four torpedo tubes armed with Spearfish heavyweight torpedos for sef-defence.*Text by The Royal Family Channel and edited and augmented by Andrew Taylor
